New York, Day 1
Today was mostly about
being shut up in a shiny metal tube hurtling through the air, but Brent and T.
and I arrived safely in New York, where they have a disturbing tendency to
build things out of bricks, which, to my Californian mind, is just asking for
things to fall down as soon as the earth moves again.
We’re staying in Brooklyn
where Brent’s conference is happening.
We arrived in time for dinner.
This picture exemplifies why I will never be a food blogger: the dregs of our table-made guacamole, the
empty holder for my tacos, and the remnants of my margarita. It was all extremely yummy and not just
because it was both lunch and dinner.
I’m getting the “real”
camera out tomorrow, but I took these two pictures of the neighborhood for now.
