Cold to hot

and back.

What goes up,

well, you know.

And you also know

about the ins and outs.

 

Some will say

there is an alternative

to love, but there isn’t really.

Sometimes clouds

obscure it

or the beat of rain

drowns it beat,

but…

 

it is the constant

at the heart

of everything.
