NZ and AUS day 2 (and 3, because dateline): in which things are different!

One of the things I love about travel is finding the things that are familiar, but not quite.  On the long flight from SFO to Aukland, the airplane’s bathroom had this entertaining wallpaper:

 

 

Here’s a vending machine in the airport with some snacks I recognize and some not so much.

 

The McDonald’s in the airport has some different menu items, too!

 

Finally, the local OWH has a slightly re-worded message:

 

We have made it to Christchurch.  We are checked in to the hotel and we are showered.  Next up:  lunch.
